Today we began our day remembering the key to understanding life and the Bible. Creation: God made all things Good: Sin: has corrupted and polluted all creation and all people: Redemption: Jesus came to make all things new by taking on our sin and giving us new life. Restoration: Our Bible lesson today was from Revelation 21 and 22. Here we see that although the Bible begins in a garden it ends in a city. But this is a Holy City where there is no more tears, sorry, pain, sickness, brokenness, violence or problems. Out of this city flows the River of God that brings healing to all the nations. This future reality can give hope to our present. Its a picture of the Kingdom of God that is already present although not yet completed. This is good news. This is the Gospel!
Today we traveled to the State Park at Lake Wawayanda. A wonderful small lake in the highlands of New Jersey about 1 hour from Paterson. You can spend a day here for just $5.00 a car. What a deal.
